We are in the mid-60s, when a very young Mariele Ventre gave birth to the very first formation of the Piccolo Coro, originally composed of only eight children. In a few years the Piccolo Coro becomes a real school of choral singing. In its 56 years of history, there have been hundreds of small voices that have brought the music of Zecchino d’Oro and its repertoire around Italy and the world.

A TV crew on Lake Garda follows a bunch of young people through discos, exposing their rebellious lives.

Ernesto, a forgotten writer, lives isolated in his apartment, where the days repeat themselves like a distant echo. His only contact with the world is Luz, the waitress from the bar on the corner. As he contemplates going away, the line between reality and fiction fades like smoke disappearing into the air.

Ximena's dad lost his job and it doesn't seem like he is trying to get one. She leaves school to support her family but a power war will break out between her and her father when his authority figure is threatened.

It is 1926 when the famous cyclist Costante Girardengo finds himself in Paris for an important race; his friend Sante Pollastri, a bandit wanted in Italy and France, is also in the French capital. The destinies of the two seem to come together again.
